actually seen God but if u can actually feel yourself most close to him where
you can reach the brim to heaven , then I must say ot is shreekhand
mahadev . it actually takes you through all ups and down of gods mystery ..
sometimes he makes conditions so miserale for you t sustain but you wins out of
all those mental and physical pressures , reaches this devine heaven . it feels
great to stand at the highest peak among others with a 72 feet long naturally
originated shivling .wonder how a 72 feet long stone fell at the top of the
highest peak .. did it come from sky or is ot real significance of Lord shiva .
Myth:
Accoding to the
pauranik story daityaraj Bhasamasur did very hard tapasaya of Mahadev and
Mahadev got very happy with the tapsaya of Bhasamsur. Then Bhasamasur got the
bhasam kangan from Mahadev as a worship. Lord Mahadev had said that the person
will get bhasam on which you will use this bhasam kangana . Due to higher ego Bhasamasur
had tried to use the same bhasama kangan on Mahadev.
Bhasamsur ran behind the Mahadev and Mahadev got disappear
in a gufa(cave) (that is called Devdank now a days and is near to Nirmand) and
appeared on a hill. That hill got khandit and due to this that hill is
worshiped as Shivalingam and it is know as Shrikhand Mahadev.

how to reach :
- Take a bus from delhi bus stand to Rampur via Shimla. It will take you about 8 hours to reach shimla and more 5-6 hours to reach Rampur .
- From Rampur you have to take a local bus or private taxi to village jaon . Jaon is a small village from where the trek to Shreekhand Mahadev commences .
- From Jaon you go all the way crossing all the junctions in between the way to reach the main Shiv linga .
- Return bach to Delhi .

Day 1 :Start your journey from delhi bust stand . Night journey and reach early in the morning to Shimla .
Day 2 : Take a Bus to rampur . It will rake your 5-6 hours . From rampur Take a taxi to Jaon ,a small village in rampur . You can find place to stay here . Have a night stay at Jaon .
Day 3 :
Start from jaon early in the morning and reach Thachru crossing barati nala and singhad .
Day 4 :
Start from thachru early in the morning and reach bheem dwar
. night star at bheem dwar . you will find tent over there . keep confirmation
of where the tents will be available from beginning only .
Day 5:
Start from bheem dwar . reach shreekand mahadev and return
to your base at parvati bag or bheem dwar . night stay at bheem dwar or
parvati bagh .
Day 6 : Start to come bak . reach jaon . night stay at jaon
or at singhad . you can find free accommodation and langar over there .
Day 7 : back to delhi
